== Behind the scenes ==
In Fox's short-lived ''Thor'' comics (printed within ''Weird Comics'' starting in 1940), [[w:c:pdsh:Thor (Fox)|Thor]]-the-hero and Grant Farrel were one and the same, although there was also a “real” god Thor who transferred his powers to Grant. In contrast, in [[Callum Phillpott]]'s own ''[[The Rhino Tower (novel)|The Rhino Tower]]'', which featured a [[Grant Farrel (925th Universe)|different version]] of [[Grant Farrel]], Grant became Thor by being unwillingly possessed by the spirit of the actual god Thor, who resided in his hammer. It is not clear how this reflects on the identity boundaries of Phillpott's prior variant of Grant/Thor.
